2008 is a pivotal year for Washington state and the U.S. Congress and it is my sincere wish that Republicans regain control of both the House and Senate in Washington D.C. and that voters in Washington state turn the tide in the political landscape here by voting against the excessive spending and partisan politics that has our state stuck in a quagmire.

The 1st Congressional District stretches across the Puget Sound, touches 3 counties (King, Kitsap and Snohomish), and includes communities from Silverdale and Bainbridge Island in the south to Hansville on the tip of the Kitsap Peninsula to the north. It encompasses the area from Mukilteo in Snohomish county to Shoreline in King County, from Monroe to Redmond to Kirkland and all points in between.
